What Our Clients Say

What Does Family Mean to Me?

Family is everything! Growing up in a house that included my grandparents taught me the importance of having a close relationship with my extended family. As a result, it is important to me that my children develop close relationships with everyone in our family. But family goes beyond just blood. It also includes the people that you choose to surround yourself with, the people that you know will always support you, and the people that you love unconditionally. We are fortunate to have most of our family and friends in the surrounding metro-Atlanta area.

When I was in middle school, my Italian grandparents moved into my mom’s house. A lot of my early influences came from growing up in a house that included not only my immediate family, but also my extended family too (not to mention all the delicious Italian cooking!) I met my husband, Joe, while we were both sophomores in high school. We now live in Alpharetta with our two incredible children.

My Favorite HAPPILY EVER AFTER DIVORCE ® Story

It is the story of my childhood. My parents divorced when I was a baby, so my “normal” was always sharing time between two households. And while I understand and appreciate the benefit of raising children in a single household, I also understand firsthand that it is not the end of the world for your children to share time between two homes…and what child doesn’t want to celebrate their birthday and other holidays twice!
