What is my family structure like?

My family is blended! I have both a stepdad and a stepmom, both of whom I value in different ways. I have siblings from both sides, I have a younger sister and two stepbrothers on my moms side and one younger sister on my dads side. My parents do their best to love and support us!

 

What does family mean to me? 

To me family is not just about shared blood, but people who show up and love you consistently. It’s an active choice and my family chooses love everyday and I am grateful for that. 

 

Hobbies

I love reading and writing, trying new recipes (I am a big fan of Martha Stewart), and going to concerts, mainly christian contemporary and country. I also enjoy traveling. I just went to Dubai and hope to go to Belize this year as well. I’ve been interested in learning Spanish and I enjoy deepening my faith through Bible study. I love hanging out with my friends, but my favorite solo activity is taking myself to the movies! I would like to think I’ve seen almost every rom-com ever made, and probably also read the book!
