Jessica Chapman is an Of Counsel attorney with the Atlanta Divorce Law Group. Jessica has focused her career on helping individuals with family law cases, and has over a decade of experience litigating. Jessica recognizes that individuals who have legal needs related to family law matters are experiencing stressful and emotional times and, she strives to provide sensitive and caring attention to her clients when they need it most. In addition to representing clients in family law matters, Jessica serves as a Guardian ad Litem representing the best interests of children in both Juvenile Court dependency proceedings and Superior Court matters.
After graduating from law school, Jessica began her career working for a small civil firm where she focused her practice on family law, bankruptcy, and civil litigation matters. She then worked for a firm for three years representing the Cherokee County Department of Family and Children Services in dependency proceedings in Juvenile Court. Throughout her career, Jessica’s focus has been on the needs of families and children.
Jessica was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Before starting high school, her family relocated to Yorktown, Virginia where she lived until moving to Atlanta, Georgia to attend Emory University. In 2003, Jessica graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of arts degree in psychology. In 2007, she graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. During law school, Jessica spent a summer semester abroad at the Royal College University, Escorial Maria Cristina in El Escorial, Spain. After completing the summer semester, she had the opportunity to travel across Europe, adding to the list of countries she has visited. So far, the list of countries includes Austria, England, Holland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Spain. After graduating from law school, Jessica returned to the Atlanta area to begin her career.
