What Is My Family Structure Like?

I am the middle child of five children. My siblings and I were very close growing up; though we all have very different personalities and interests, I adore each of them and love supporting them in reaching their goals. I grew up in a Korean American household and have great appreciation for my cultural identity and heritage.

What Does Family Mean to Me?

I define family as the people with whom we surround ourselves that make us feel safe, supported, and understood. Family is not something that is biologically defined but rather marked by deep human connections that provide us with a sense of place and self.
